Publications, Presentations and Verdicts J. J. Cranmore is a speaker at various seminars and has published a number of articles on banking and securities issues. Co-author: Banking Law 1986 - 1992 Editions, Matthew Bender and Company. Co-author: Considerations Under the Federal Banking and Securities Laws with Respect to Bank Mergers or Takeovers, 36 Oklahoma Law Review 789 (1984). Co-author: Current Issues in Banking Law in Connecticut, National Business Institute (1990). Co-author: Introduction to Federal and Connecticut Banking Regulation, Professional Education Systems, Inc. (1990). Author: Enforcement of Certain Provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Georgetown University Library (1983). Mr. Cranmore has been a speaker at various conferences and seminars. Joseph V. Meaney, Jr. served as class counsel for 70 municipalities and secured a judgment of $35.8 million against the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority to recover past overcharges imposed as a result of an illegal unsecured loan to Enron Corporation. CRRA was also enjoined from imposing more than $6.9 million in additional overcharges. Mr. Meaney also represented the construction engineering and inspection services firm in the Interstate 84 litigation that was resolved in June of 2009. John C. FitzGerald, Jr. annually lectures to a group of Insurance Agents and Producers on topics involving Insurance law and ethics. John P. McHugh has lectured at various banking, regulatory and lending seminars, and was an instructor in Banking Law with the American Institute of Banking.
